I was bored so I made up a little MMO for kicks, not to be seen as an official on-going MMO for Integrability. We have an department that handles that, the IGD. Go ahead and create a character and log in. Don't expect much at this time though. :P

First you'll need to install some basic library files for the game to be understood on your windows machine, yes this only works on Windows or any Window's boot emulated OS.

Download the attachment, extract directory as it is, then click on client.exe to start the game. You'll see our familiar mascots and the game main screen, if you see at the bottom saying Server Status: Online, then congrats it works for you! It may take anywhere from 2-6 seconds for it to load however.

Click on New Account and follow the instructions, then go back and click on Login and follow the instructions there and create a character and you're in.

Here's a brief run down. It would seem most people's OS are missing the library files missing to play the game, so here's how to get started in the right order.

  • Download and save the ELIS.zip file
    Attached File  ELIS.zip (1.19MB)
    Number of downloads: 166

  • this zip file and install the ELIS.exe file
  • The ELIS.exe file will bring up a dos command prompt asking you to install the library files, accept and wait for it to install.
  • Download and save the IntegrabilityMMO.zip file
    Attached File  IntegrabilityMMO.zip (14.64MB)
    Number of downloads: 181

  • Extract the zip file maintaing its root directory "Client" folder, to anywhere on your computer
  • Open the folder and start client.exe
  • You'll see the main menu screen
  • If the game won't start or has trouble moving from "connecting" to "online", close program and open it a second time
  • Click on Create Account and then Login after you made your account
  • After logging in, create a character, you have up to 3 characters

To play, you'll have to move the mouse arrows, point and clicking is only for the menu options.

ALL SPRITES, TILES, MUSIC, AND SOUND FILES BELONG TO THE RESPECTIVE AUTHORS WHOM CREATED THEM AND SHOULD NOT BE REUSED WITHOUT PERMISSION FROM THEIR CREATORS. THE GUI INTERFACE AND ITS MASCOT CHARACTERS ARE PROPERTY OF INTEGRABILITY AND ARE NOT PERMITTED TO BE USED OUTSIDE THIS GAME. To play the game, you use the arrow keys to move your character and your mouse to use the menus.

  • Arrows - Move
  • Enter - Send chat/Pick up item
  • Ctrl - Attack
  • F4 - Create guild
  • Shift - Hold to run

While in the game you can do other things with a combination of keys such as learning magic and using magic you'll have to point and click then click the user or monster what you want to use the spell on. To pick up an item, stand over it and press enter. Monsters drop items at random and GP, shops currently do not sell weapons. To equip a weapon open up your inventory menus and double click on the weapon.

NPC's you just need to walk up to them and press CTRL, Shop NPCs you just need to step on the right space before them.

At this time there's not much to this game, it was merely setup for testing purposes for how well the connection users can play the game and how easy it would be to update a game. Currently there is no official active game, this game was generated by a popular MMO engine which many dothack game makers have used in the past outside of Integral, I took up the basic software and played around with it and host it from my own computer and gave permissions to the staff on the forum to play around and test the game as well and determined what potential issues there are and what things we'd needed to be aware of. This game is NOT whatsoever to be any means to measure your RP character or growth, this is just a game to play and enjoy for what it is.

There is a team created by Sam Grey here on the forums which will be providing a game for all of you officially, as for when things will start getting underway and when the game will be released I do not know.

I called it a demo as to signify a demonstration of what a dothack MMO would look like, there's no real version of this play-in-progress like alpha, beta, or final and will never will be.

I may continue to work on this, any of the staff teams are welcomed to continue to work on it as well, and the game will be up online as long as I keep my PC on and internet running. So enjoy!

Only those players whom have special higher privileged access in the game can create guilds, guilds is not a function that is based on levels or experience, just whomever the owner (me) designates to certain levels of access aside normal access. The different levels in the game itself are Player, Moderator, Mapper, Developer, Admin, and Owner. My account having Owner access can designate people into these different levels and only Developer, Admin, and Owner groups can create guilds with the press of the F4 button.

The only thing you may find that has a level cap is being able to player kill (PK) a fellow user, the level is 10 or higher.

I'm not sure I understand your English at all, but if I'm understanding you right, is the cathedral only in .hack//GU? No its in all the series, in the earlier series it was only referred to as Delta Hidden Forbidden Holy Ground, after it's field name. In the GU series they renamed the place Hulle Granz Cathedral or in its shorter name, Hulle Granz. It is still located at Delta Hidden Forbidden Holy Ground though. The screenshot above shows my in-game version of that location.

Well, I think that some monsters tend to drop equipment rather than GP, but I'll see what I can do. As for nobody being online, as it's still very much in-progress I think not many people are logging in. Also, time zones- you may be in a different time zone to other players and as such, you might be logging in while they're asleep or at work/school.

And new places to discover.

Remember, you can download and play at any time anywhere and from any place. You do not need an email to setup your in-game account. Just download the package and run the game client exe file and follow the in-game steps to play.

On the topic of spells, Repth works, and I believe that Rig Geam (MP recharge spell) works- in the game, MP and SP are two different things, with MP working as mana. As for the other spells, I think that they will need to be adjusted before we see them 100% functional. At the moment, I think that it requires you to be above a certain level to do actual damage. Also, if a spell doesn't work, consider elements: the element system has been set up in terms of some monsters and spells. Here's an example: Specter has the Darkness Element, so that may be why Ani Don (darkness spell) doesn't work on it.

Remember!
Earth <-> Wood
Thunder <-> Darkness
Water <->
Fire

At some point I intend to sort out the spells so that they work! As of when I was last logged in, Fort Ouph was under construction, so almost all servers will be available soon. The next steps are to put shops in the other towns and improve on the current "bare bones" layout. In the meantime, feel free to challenge the Red Wyrm in our prototype dungeon! You can get there from Mac Anu's warp point (it does require going through two fields, but you'll be able to find the warp points to the relevant places.).

To attack, walk up to a monster on a field and press CTRL repeatedly till the monster is dead.

I have been able to get spells to work, by double clicking the desired spell prior to casting.

I also encourage anyone ot try the dungeon, and the Wyrm. It is tough, but worth the fight.

Creating an account on the game takes a couple minutes

You click "Create Account"
- Make a username, password , and submit
- At the Character selection screen you hit Create and choose your name, along with your class. Currently we only have the r:1 classes. as well as Male and Female genders.
- Once finished with making a character, simply log in and you're good to go.

Edit: Yea, i forgot about the no e-mail thing XD
